Helen Duncan has over 15 years’ experience writing business communications, working with a wide range of clients and industry sectors. Helen works with a team of creative professionals in-house and is supported by established freelance copywriters when required on larger projects.
We have built long term relationships with many of our clients, who use our services time and again because of the consistently high standards of our work, accuracy and ‘can-do’ attitude to getting a project completed on time, on budget, and on schedule.
We are very versatile with a keen business understanding and appreciation of the fast moving technology sector. As well Helen’s IT background we have many year’s experience in the health and education sectors, the pharmaceutical industry, telecommunications and across most sectors in the SME market.
Helen’s writing and project management skills come from a career in the civil service and the marketing and sales corporate world prior to setting out in business as a copywriter. Educated to degree level, she studied sub-editing and design at the London School of Journalism and continued that development with a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications & Reputation Management at the Manchester Business School.
As Managing Director of First Impression, a marketing and creative company, for the past 14 years Helen has worked directly with many businesses in the High Peak and North West, as well as blue chip organisations across the UK. As copywriters we also support other creative design and marketing companies who do not have copywriting capabilities themselves.
